In Jurgen Onland: Photos as Mythopoetic Act, curator Steve Bisson describes Onland’s photography as a medium that transforms images into mythopoetic gestures, inviting viewers to engage with themes of memory, nostalgia, and longing.
During Photographers’ Café ‘Van binnenuit’, Jurgen Onland reflected on themes of alienation and belonging, sharing how photography became a means of navigating identity, memory, and the inner landscape.
